나의 의지와 믿음
Adventures are there for the taking…
but I have to be the one
with the willingness to explore.
The possibilities for happiness are endless…
but I have to be the one to believe
in their possibilities and make them mine.
Love is there for the making…
but I have to be the one to trust
in its magic and believe…
before I can ask my love
to trust forever in me.
모험이란 언제든지 해 볼 수 있는 것.
그러나 먼저 나 자신 스스로
의지를 가지고 시작해야 한다네.
행복해 질 수 있는 가능성은 무한하나
그러나 먼저 나 자신 스스로
그 가능성을 믿어야 내 것으로 만들 수 있다네.
사랑은 언제나 할 수 있는 것.
그러나 먼저 나 자신 스스로
사랑의 오묘함을 받아들이고
상대방에게 영원히 나를 믿어달라고 하기 전에
내가 먼저 그를 믿어야 하리.
I have to be the one to make the difference.
I can see things as I wish them to be.
And since I want a successful life warmed
with happiness and love,
I will do whatever is within my ability.
나 자신이야말로 무언가 달라져야 할 사람.
이 세상 모든 것은 내가 바라는 대로 보이는 법.
내가 바라는 성공적인 삶을
행복과 사랑으로 따뜻하게 하려면
무엇을 하든지 내 힘껏 정성을 다 하리.
Never until now have I wanted to make
such a positive change in my days.
Never again will I take things for granted –
my life is waiting for me
to get involved in the making
of its wonderful ways.
지금까지 나는 나의 하루하루를
이렇게 적극적으로 변화시키고자 애쓴 적이 없었지.
이제 다시는 그 어떤 것도 당연하게 받아들이지 않으리.
나의 삶은 나를 기다리고 있네,
그 놀라운 행로를
나와 함께 동행하자고.
